MANUFACTURING PROCESS

JCS Hi-Torque Ltd is a specialist in the design and manufacture of worm drive hose clips and P-clips. We have developed all aspects of the business specifically for these products from the factory building to the production processes, to the packaging, to the computer system. We are a self-contained company with all the manufacturing processes under our own control and on site, resulting in substantial benefits in quality and delivery times.

Assembly

Nearly all parts are assembled on fully automatic machines which have been designed and built at JCS.

Press Components

We manufacture all our press components on a range of high-speed automatic presses.

Screw Components

We manufacture all our screws on the latest cold heading and thread rolling machines.

Electroplating

We have on site our own zinc electroplating facility, which has automated barrel and reel-to-reel strip plants.

Toolroom

Equipped with a wide variety of precision and CNC toolroom machines, our toolroom handles all of the production tool maintenance as well as new machine build

Quality Control

Great emphasis is placed on in-process and batch inspection. A programmed torque testing system is used for final inspection of all hose clips.

Packing

Many types of packaging are handled taking advantage of a computer generated labelling system.
